Just thought I would provide a brief summary of what was clearly from the results and member feedback and very successful year.

In the end we posted a 141.29 unit profit at 7.9% POT.

As you're aware, after a frustrating start to the year we amended our selection and staking methodology mid-year and the results spoke for themselves.

In the second half of the year from July 1 we posted a spectacular 192.16 unit profit at 17.4% POT.

Some of our biggest priced winners of the year included Stage Girl at $126, Sea Lord at $51, Pollonize at $34 (plus the $2000+ trifecta in the same race), Portland at $34, Popacorka at $34, Dream With Me at $32, Wouldn't It Be Nice at $31 and our old mate Mourinho who won for us twice this year at $43 and $21.

Win and place betting were both highly profitable. All other forms of exotics betting (e.g. exactas, trifectas etc) were unprofitable. These will be scaled back but I do still feel there are opportunities to use these at prudent times and no doubt we have and can continue to snag some very large dividends if we utilise these intelligently and judiciously.

I am continuing to identify new ways of analysing the database and look forward to advising of further insights and opportunities in the future.
