Below is a review of the Pedigree Power service since it started in October.

Profit for 3 months to end December 118.44 units with a monthly breakdown as per the below:

October 20.80 units profit
November 63.78 units profit
December 33.86 units profit

Breakdown of different bet types:

Win - 129.39 units profit
Place - 20.47 units profit
Quaddie - 14.05 units loss
Other exotics - 17.37 units loss


Worthy of special mentions:

Swipe Me Right - now any horse you have a 3/3 record with tops the list. Has returned us 30.20 units profit to date.

If any one has seen Tinder you will know you need to swipe right to 'like' a person. Well this horse was named thanks to Tinder as his dams name was Love Online. Not sure how much love you can find on Tinder but I'm sure you will agree we love this horse!

Nurse Kitchen - she got the money for us at $19 in October. I saw this filly last week and she has spelled magnificent and is being set on an Oaks campaign. This one might be 'out of the box' and live right up to her AAA pedigree.

Robbie Griffiths - what a run we have had with his horses. He is a master of having them ready 1st up and we have benefitted big time. We are in profit 38.65 units with his horses to date.


Quaddie selections and boxing them in Trifecta's and First Fours

I hadn't paid any attention to this until you Twitter followers mentioned that if you had boxed our quaddie selections we have nailed a number of trifectas and first fours. I think the last race at Gawler on the 4th of January from 5 selections the first four would have been nailed and paid upwards of $70k on one of the totes!

So what I will do is look at these races in future to see whether there is a potential collect.

The problem with boxing only the quaddie selections given is that I base those selections on horses I believe have a genuine winning chance. This often means I leave out horses 'shorter' in the market that I believe can't win but could fill a place in the first four. If you like playing these exotics then always feel free to send me an email and I can advise you of the other horses I think might be exotic killers!


So what's in store for 2017 .....

With results going well I can't see the need to change anything too much.

To date for January we are up a total of 33.62 units profit.

I have to say we finally got the 'monkey off the back' with a nice little quaddie at Gawler returning 11.45 units. A deserved change of luck with so many where we got 3/4 legs including that $70k quaddie at Flemington beaten a nose in the final leg.

What I am going to do is send out the daily selections at 10.00am every day. This will give you more certainty around when you get tips and will allow everyone to get the best odds on offer. I think you will notice that our selections, at least in non-metropolitan meetings, firm significantly once they are sent out. If selections are not ready at 10am I will advise with an email and the time they will be released. This will happen at times as it's often hard to track down trainers etc some mornings to get the good oil.

Only other comment is to remember we are after long term profit so always back to your bank and back the selections as stated.
