Race 1: Evergreen Turf Plate 1100m

Ollivander (1st) settled a touch worse than midfield, peeled out and kept coming in the straight, attacked the line strongly late, nice debut. Anthemoessa (2nd) was caught wide on speed, gave a great kick in the straight, looked the winner before being bloused late, good run. Fake (3rd) sat outside the leader and kept finding in the straight.

 

Race 2: Moorookyle Park Handicap 1200m

Trogir (1st) had a lovely run midfield on the rails, sliced through the field on straightening, let down well to win easily. Don’t Blush Baby (2nd) had a lovely run just off the speed, attacked the line well late. El Rada (3rd) was caught wide, loomed in the straight, knocked up slightly late.

 

Race 3: Tile Importer Handicap 1440m

Kasi Farasi (1st) had to do the chasing bringing the field up to the tearaway the leader, travelled up strongly and held the challengers off late, big win, tough effort. Poet’s Corner (2nd) and Montaser (3rd) both had good runs in transit and her their chance to run down the winner.

 

Race 4: Sheamus Mills Bloodstock Handicap 1700m

Angelucci (1st) sat in behind the speed, peeled off heals in the straight and let down well to win with ease. Red Choux’s (2nd) and Found Out (3rd) both ran on late from towards the rear. Vinland (4th) was heavily backed, sat outside the leader, and offered nothing in the straight.

 

Race 5: Clanbrooke Racing Handicap 1700m

Shoreham (1st) settled worse than midfield, moved up on the turn, clearly headed in the straight but knuckled down strongly in the last 100m to score. Guizot (2nd) settled worse than midfield, loomed up and took over, winner fought back on its inside. Shenandoah (3rd) led and gave a good kick.

 

Race 6: Blue Star Print Group Handicap 2420m

Etah James (1st) led, gave a great kick around the turn, and kept finding in the straight to win well, promising type. My Psychiatrist (2nd) settled midfield, got rolling before the turn and kept finding in the straight. Bint El Bedu (3rd) settled towards the rear and ran on strongly late.

 

Race 7: Ladbrokes Open Handicap 1440m

Ozi Choice (1st) sat on the speed, took over on the turn and was strong through the line, tough honest type. Thelburg (2nd) settled midfield and has ran on well late. Onerous (3rd) sat towards the rear, has ran on in the straight.

 

Race 8: Catanach’s Jewellers Handicap 1100m

Crystal Dreamer (1st) was caught wide on the speed, travelled up strongly around the turn, let down well, and has just held on, tough win. Danuki (2nd) box seated and battled on well in the straight. Thermal Current (3rd) sat behind the winner in the run, ran on well late but had his chance. Manolo Blahniq (4th) was heavily backed and ran on well late.

 

Race 9: Le Pine Funerals Handicap 1100m

Creativity (1st) settled midfield on the rails, presented up well and sprinted clear, got tired late but held on for a solid win. Tykiato (2nd) sat just off the speed, copped interference 250m out, picked up again to hit the line well late, connections put in a protest which was dismissed. Mamzelle Tess (3rd) had a lovely run just off the speed and has kept coming in the straight.
