Solid week with +4.3u profit from limited bets.

Rainbow Connection won impressively for us on debut at $11 at Randwick in our only betting race on Wednesday.

On Thursday we backed Egyptian Missile each way at $7.50 and it ran well, finishing 2nd to the odds on favourite for a profitable result.

On Saturday, we backed Hedonie at $34, it firmed into $16 and had no luck. Was a bit slower away than previously so got caught 3 wide, but then got run right off the track on the corner by another runner so was given no chance. Wasn't beaten far considering. Can win a race for us at huge odds as she's better than her form looks.

Hilal was ridden like it was Phar Lap. Just got way too far back, but charged home. Didn't look they were trying too hard to me. He ran the quickest last 600m of the race and is being set for the Sires Produce & Champagne Stakes over more ground where we have backed him as a Futures bet and he's right on track.

Mandalong Cash had no luck again at 200/1. If he got a better trainer/jockey he could be a high quaity horse, but regardless given time he will surprise people and win a nice race at big odds.

In our other Futures bets from Saturday, unfortunately Head Of State pulled up with a Cardiac Arrythmia which is why he ran below par. He is a quality colt that will win a god race. Hopefully then continue on with his preparation.

Queen Of Wizardry was supposed to run Saturday but apparently fell over in the wash bay before the race so was a late scratching. Another where hopefully she gets her chance to race again shortly.

We finished the week off nicely with Lucky Bucky firming late from $8.50 to $6.50 and winning for us at Hobart.

Another good week takes us to +11.5u profit for the month and +40.5u profit for the year so far.
