Race 1: The Asian Executive Stakes 1100m

Prairie Fire (1st) settled towards the rear, peeled widest, and let down sharply to hit the lead and score, powered through the line late. Khulaasa (2nd) sat just behind the speed, travelled strongly, and let down well, winner just too strong late. They put a gap on the rest.

 

Race 2: Japan Racing Association Handicap 2000m

The Mighty Jrod (1st) led, gave a good kick in the straight, kept digging in late to hold them off. Midas Man (2nd) settled midfield, peeled out and looked to be struggling, picked up to hit the line well late. Cry if I Want to (3rd) settled towards the rear, kept finding in the straight.

 

Race 3: TCL TV Handicap 1400m

Spanish Reef (1st) was caught wide midfield, travelled up well, didn’t sprint sharply, but kept grinding and has been very strong late, top return. Miss Adequate (2nd) led, gave a good kick in the straight, winner just too strong late. Ma Jones (3rd) settled last, peeled widest, and hit the line well late.

 

Race 4: Goodwood Racecourse Handicap 1600m

Kings Will Dream (1st) had a nice run just off the slow tempo, peeled out on the turn, travelled up strongly, and let down well, won easily, looks a serious type. Notio (2nd) settled towards the rear, got moving on the turn, got into the clear and hit the line well late. Downhearted (3rd) led, gave a kick, battled on well enough.

 

Race 5: Royal Ascot Handicap 1200m

Ken’s Dream (1st) settled towards the rear, peeled out, travelled strongly, and has let down sharply to win with ease, goes well down the straight. Lucky Liberty (2nd) settled last, peeled widest, and hit the line well late. Prima (3rd) sat on the speed and battled on well.

 

Race 6: The TAB Vanity 1400m

Rimraam (1st) had a nice run midfield on rails, stuck to rails, got into the clear 200m out and let down strongly, held them off late, good return. Bring me Roses (2nd) settled midfield, peeled out and hit the line well. Shokora (3rd) settled towards the rear, peeled widest, ran on strongly late.

 

Race 7: CS Hayes Stakes 1400m

Grunt (1st) sat wide with cover just off the speed, peeled out, was outsprinted, but kept sticking on, knuckled down strongly to take over late and draw away, nice win. Cliff’s Edge (2nd) was caught wide on speed, let down strongly to take the lead and look the winner, Grunt was just too strong late. Muraaqeb (3rd) settled midfield, peeled out into the clear and hit the line strongly late.

 

Race 8: Black Caviar Lightning 1000m

Redkirk Warrior (1st) missed the start and settled last, peeled out and let down strongly, flew late and has got up in the last stride, big return. Redzel (2nd) sat on the speed, let down sharply, dashed clear and looked the winner, grabbed in the last stride, loses no admirers. Missrock (3rd) settled midfield, sprinted well, and stuck on late.

 

Race 9: York Racecourse Handicap 1400m

Coldstone (1st) had a lovely run just off the speed, was outsprinted but kept finding late to get up and score, was strong late. Radipole (2nd) settled midfield on rails, peeled out in the straight and hit the line well without ever challenging the winner, Kingsguard (3rd) settled midfield and battled on well in the straight without ever looking the winner.
