Race 1: Goldin Farms 2YO Plate 1104m

Most of the field on debut here, as I have said in the past these are races I don’t liking betting into, out of the raced brigade, Tadween might have ran into one with some ability last start and should be prominent here.

Race 2: Coopers Handicap 1204m

Flying Krupt is going very well this prep, has recorded two strong wins and the step up to the 1200 looks no concern, must be respected. Purrfect Kisses is only going OK this prep, finds a more suitable race here but must find some form. Modulate wouldn’t surprise at odds.

Average race, no betting interest.

Race 3: Crabb Shellgrit Handicap 1104m

Mystified has ability but I only think she is going OK this prep, this race is suitable but couldn’t touch the current price on offer. France’s Boy ran well first up, not sure about the drop in distance but can still run well. Weather Channel is an interesting runner resuming, market will be a strong guide. Quivers is flying and must be respected here.

Another average race, staying out.

Race 4: Barossa Volkswagen Handicap 1705m

Soaring High went pretty well last start, hit a flat spot around the turn but knuckled down strongly late, still think he wants further but looks ready to win. Saturday Sorcerer was impressive when leading all the way last start, if can get some control up front again, will be very hard to catch. Something More looks to find a very suitable race, right in this.

No interest here, staying out.

Race 5: Terrace Function Centre Handicap 2105m

Spy Decoder is racing well but is simply not winning, looks short. Super Swoop should have won last start, will get back here and with any luck should be hard to hold out late. Fantastic Magic won well last start on the home track, tougher here but demands respect. Cool Fonzy is racing well, this looks to suit.

Race 6: Barossa Valley Schild Estate Wines Handicap 1104m

Danuki comes here after running in good races in Melbourne, looks very well suited but no interest in the price on offer. Chapel City is flying, was a great win last start, will settle last here and be charging late. One More Daisy is a talented type resuming, can win.

Danuki on top but no interest in the price on offer.

Race 7: Sanders Fodder/Mitavite Handicap 1504m

Devilishly opens favourite and im not sure why, admittedly it’s a very weak race but this horse simply does not know how to win, looks extremely short. Stryker Fortune was dominant last start, had favours being on the home track but can go on with it here. Enki has been racing in much stronger races and demands respect here.

Race 8: Kingsford Hotel Handicap 1204m

Alaskan Jade is racing well enough, finds a winnable race here. Groove with Me is a consistent type who can improve here second up and be in the finish. The Balfour pair in Trupt and Cool Maverick are both going well and can win.

Wide open race, looks impossible.
