Race 1: Goldin Farms 2YO Plate 1104m

Tadween (1st) sat outside the leader, kept finding in the straight to score. Vivi Valentina (2nd) led and kept finding in the straight, winner just too strong late. Strategic Agenda (3rd) sat in behind the speed, ran on well late, was very green, can improve.

 

Race 2: Coopers Handicap 1204m

Bris Vegas (1st) led, sprinted clear on straightening and has won well. I Am Dexter (2nd) settled last, got a lovely run through along the rails, hit the line well late. Flying Krupt (3rd) sat on the speed, was a touch one paced in the straight.

 

Race 3: Crabb Shellgrit Handicap 1104m

France’s Boy (1st) box seated, got a lovely rails run on the turn and sprinted well to win, had favours but can still go on with it. Tempting Faith (2nd) led and kept finding in the straight, winner just too strong. Quivers (3rd) sat on the speed and battled on well enough in the straight.

 

Race 4: Barossa Volkswagen Handicap 1705m

Scratchy Lass (1st) settled towards the rear, sliced through the field to hit the line strongly, going well. Saturday Sorcerer (2nd) led and kept responding in the straight, winner just too strong late. Something More (3rd) had a lovely run, loomed but couldn’t catch the top two.

 

Race 5: Terrace Function Centre Handicap 2105m

Bertwhistle (1st) had a nice run towards the rear on the rails, travelled up strongly, gap appeared and showed a good sprint to dash clear and win well. Cool Fonzy (2nd) had a lovely run in transit, did enough in the straight. Fantastic Magic (3rd) led and battled on well in the straight.

 

Race 6: Barossa Valley Schild Estate Wines Handicap 1104m

Danuki (1st) box seated, gap appeared on straightening, showed a nice sprint to put them away, too good. Chapel City (2nd) settled at the rear and ran on well late, going well. Glenrowan Prince (3rd) had a nice run midfield, made steady ground in the straight.

 

Race 7: Sanders Fodder/Mitavite Handicap 1504m

Devilishly (1st) had a nice run just in behind the speed, kept coming in the straight to score, deserved win. Autumn Street (2nd) sat outside the leader, showed a nice sprint, winner just the stronger late, beat the rest comfortably. Enki (3rd) settled midfield on the rails, made ground late.

 

Race 8: Kingsford Hotel Handicap 1204m

Trupt (1st) settled midfield, took a while to wind up, but knuckled down strongly late to score. Groove with Me (2nd) led and kept finding in the straight, can win next start. Alaskan Jade (3rd) box seated and had limited room in the straight, ran well.
