Kalgoorlie

Kalgoorlie
Little joy at Kalgoorlie yesterday.

In the past 5 meetings at Kalgoorlie we have gone:

+13.18
-8.60
+85.76
+14.33
-9.20

One interesting finding out of yesterday was Willie Pike riding 6 out of 8 winners.

In the only other losing Kalgoorlie day, he rode 3 from 5. A lot of those winners rated out of sight compared to previous starts when he hadn't rode them, so that will be something I will consider going forward when rating races as his overall record at Kalgoorlie is now very impressive, as it is across WA.

The other interesting point is that we have taken quaddies on 3 days at Kalgoorlie. We obviously got the first one paying $20,000. The second one we got 3/4 and Willie Pike rode the winner we missed. Yesterday we got 2/4, Willie Pike rode one winner, and Clare Lindop rode the other who was visiting from South Australia in her first time riding at the track.

Obviously Kalgoorlie has been a gold mine for us with the last 5 meetings recording a 95.46 units profit on 48.08 units investment for a 199% POT and nearly a doubling of the betting bank on one track alone in less than a month.

Anyway just thought you might be interested in the insights from yesterday. I always review results of every bet and every meeting, and usually keep them to myself for us to take advantage of going forward, but this was just an interesting one worth sharing, and very slight tweaks to the ratings and strategies will be made to account for certain top jockeys who don't usually ride at the track.

We did have a couple of new members join recently; obviously yesterday was an aberration. Another meeting at Kalgoorlie to look forward to on Sunday!

All the best
