Race 1: Adelaide Galvanising Boxing Day Family Races Handicap 1250m

Tan Tat Flame is going well, comes through some nice form races and looks to map well here, has to go on top. Indian Thunder comes here from Victoria, ran on strongly last start at Sandown, we settle back in the field again here. Rushwa is not the worst at odds.

Race 2: Happy 60^th Darryl Jericho Handicap 1250m

Embecee Lil steps back in distance here which does not look ideal, but she is very talented and could be too good for this lot. Via Balciano looks to be quite talented, scored a nice win three weeks back at Ballarat, steps up to the 1250 for the first time, looks a big player here. Barood is an honest type that could do something here at odds.

Tricky race, staying out.

Race 3: Goldin Farms Handicap 1950m

I’m a Princess returns to Adelaide coming off a nice win at Sandown, steps up to the 1950 for the first time here, I think she is slightly under the odds. Pretty Punk steps up from the 1400 to 1950 here which does not look ideal, is looking for further distance but might just need one more run before she is ready to peak. Have Plenty is racing well and is sure to be amongst the finish here, just keeps running into one better.

No interest here, staying out.

Race 4: UBET Handicap 1400m

Chamois Road is a very honest type, am willing to forgive last start on the heavy track and looks to have a clear class edge on this field, I am just a touch worried about the 1400m but will take the risk. Nikitas comes here from Victoria and is very hard to line up. Federal Court is racing well and should be amongst the finish.

1.5 units – Chamois Road @ $3.60

Race 5: Schweppes Handicap 1000m

Bay Road is flying, will be on the speed again and prove hard to catch. Invisible Girl is also going well but with her racing pattern she needs luck in running. Cashed will run his usual honest race. Itz Invincible is a very interesting resumer, has a great record first up, can lead here and prove very hard to catch.

Very interesting and tricky race, staying out.

Race 6: James Boag’s Premium Handicap 1000m

Call me Handsome debuted in Australia last start coming over from Hong Kong, ran well at Sandown, I’m not a fan of backing these internationals second up in Australia so I have no interest in the price on offer, but he does look very hard to beat. Mystified went well first up then pulled up with issues last start, right in this. Irish Mint will be on speed and run an honest race. Nodoubtaboutit should be amongst the finish, It’s Been a Battle is an interesting resumer.

Call me Handsome clearly on top but no interest in the price on offer.

Race 7: Hughes Limousines Handicap 1400m

Infinity Queen looks to be going well and finds a suitable race here, maps well and should be amongst the finish. Enki is racing well and was unlucky last start behind the smart Embecee Lil, he doesn’t win out of turn though. Lord Topper is going well this prep, will be on speed and prove hard to catch. Spy Decoder can do something at odds.

Toughest race of the day, no betting interest here.

Race 8: The Junction Handicap 1250m

Baker’s Dozen has had no luck so far this preparation, has had a trial since his last run, the map does look awkward here, no interest in the current price on offer. Just a Bigger Dash won easily last start in much easier company, loses Kah and this looks a big step up, looks under the odds. Call me Curtis is racing well but rarely wins.

Baker’s Dozen could simply be too good for this lot, but I want to see him put it all together first this prep so I will be staying out.
