Race 1: Advanced Transport Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Handicap 1400m

Deplorable did a good job three weeks back behind the smart Lady of Crebilly, suited here. Don’t think Phelps Glory is going overly well, looks under the odds. Ardizzone won well on debut on a heavy track, step up here but could be up to it.

Very tricky race, staying out.

Race 2: Doug & Pat Brown 65 Year Anniversary 3YO Maiden Plate 1000m

Yoelqui looks like a nice type, stable is flying a looks a deserved favourite. Have really been impressed with Kabini’s past two runs, if gets a spot just off the speed will be hard to hold out. Modulate is an interesting runner resuming.

Race 3: Daimler Trucks Adelaide Handicap 1250m

Magnus Knight is flying, Kah stays on, will be on the speed and there’s no reason why he can’t win again. Chapel City had favours when winning first up, although should take improvement from the run and wouldn’t surprise here. Call Me Curtis is racing well but struggles to win. Alaskan Jade is coming through some good races and is right in this.

Tough race, staying out.

Race 4: Action Line Marking Handicap 1000m

Mystified went well first up, should take improvement from the run and has won second up in the past, only negative is that the map looks awkward. Invisible Girl is going well, had all favours last start, her racing pattern makes it hard to bet with confidence. Bay Road is a ripper, should lead and will take plenty of catching.

Race 5: Roadside Services & Solutions Handicap 1400m

Embecee Lil is a mare I’ve always had a good opinion of, looks suited here, barrier two looks some concern, will need luck. Set to Sparkle had her chance to win last start, thought she was disappointing, advantage is that she probably leads here, and the main dangers will need luck from the back of the field. Miss Identified is flying, if there’s speed on up front, will be very hard to hold out.

Race 6: Delnorth Handicap 1400m

All Bar Two looks to be flying, great win two back at Strathalbyn before coming to town and running second to Wasabi Bob who ran well last week, if handles the step back to 1400 looks very hard to beat. Really not much to say about the rest, Cayman Nites could do something second up at odds.

Race 7: Plumbing & Pipeline Solutions Handicap 1550m

Imperator Augustus comes here from interstate after racing in much stronger company, if brings that form looks the one to beat. Roselli Sting has come back well, can peak here third up. Kirona is going well, wouldn’t surprise here.

Imperator Augustus on top but no interest in the price on offer, staying out.

Race 8: UBET Handicap 1250m

Baker’s Dozen had nothing go its way last week first up, on the back up here up in distance, a very interesting runner. Via Balciano looks a nice type, comes out of a very strong form race last start, if the stable elects to run here, looks very hard to beat. Gogo Grace is a nice type resuming, market watch. Enki can improve second up. Ballinaclash should lead and will keep fighting.
