Race 1: DC Vending Handicap 1300m

Scarecrow was dominant when resuming at Gawler, looks a very nice type and should be winning again here. Bris Vegas is racing well and should be amongst the finish. American Genius comes here from Victoria, this is easier.

Race 2: UBET Adelaide Cup – Monday 12^th March Handicap 2250m

Andrea Mantegna comes here from Victoria, this looks a massive drop in grade and he deserves to be favourite. Tunes and Spy Decoder are both honest types who are racing well enough but struggle to win. Flying Casino wouldn’t surprise if he was able to recapture some form.

No betting interest here.

Race 3: James Boag’s Premium Handicap 1000m

Kyzamba comes here from Victoria, this looks easier but is very hard to line up. Snip of Magic is racing well and must be respected. Most of these aren’t going well and all struggle to win.

Very average race, staying out.

Race 4: Schweppes Handicap 1250m

Rupture is a talented type, broke through for a deserved win two back, demands respect here. Gold Blush is second up here for the Clarken stable after coming over from Victoria, hard runner to line up but should be hitting the line well late. Sawaiki is racing well and must be respected here.

Very tricky race, staying out.

Race 5: Medallion Homes 3YO Maiden Plate 1000m

Institution ran into the smart Scarecrow last start, is going well and deserves to break through here. Miss Labelle resumes here coming off racing very consistently in its first prep, right in this. There clearly the top two of the raced brigade.

Institution clearly on top but couldn’t get involved at the short quote.

Race 6: Holdfast Insurance Handicap 1000m

Olivier comes here for the Weir camo from Victoria, has been finishing down the track but this is a big drop in grade, still couldn’t get involved in the price on offer. Irish Mint is an honest type, will lead here and prove hard to catch. Heart of a Lion is a talented type resuming, market will be a good guide.

Good little race but tricky, Irish Mint on top but not betting.

Race 7: Lloyd Cromwell Handicap 1400m

Hazy Lane is an ultra consistent type who is racing very well, will be on speed here and prove hard to catch. Lord Topper is on the back up after recording a tough victory last week, should cross them from the outside barrier and give a great sight. Game of War is the class runner, didn’t do much when resuming in Melbourne, can improve here.

Race 8: The Junction Handicap 1400m

Silent Warrior is an honest type resuming, will be much better once getting over a further distance but can run well here fresh. Cronauer did a good job when winning first up after coming over from Hong Kong, this is a big step up but looks to have some ability. Groove with Me is a consistent type, if can settle on the speed here from the wide barrier, can give them something to catch.
