Joy Flipper (1st) led at a good tempo, rolled along, was there to be beaten but fought on strongly late, going well. Counterplay (2nd) sat on speed bringing the field up to the tearaway leader, travelled up strongly, didn’t really let down, will take big improvement from the run.
