Morphettville Parks Review 11-Nov-17

Race 1: Goldin Farms Handicap 1250m

Dexter You Devil (1st) sat just off the speed and has hit the line powerfully late to score, horse is flying. Tabbing (2nd) had a comfortable lead, gave a kick, has gone OK. Phelps Glory (3rd) had every chance.

Race 2: Holdfast Insurance Handicap 1400m

Show Bender (1st) had the perfect run and has been too strong late, going well. Set to Sparkle (2nd) had every chance, I think this mare is better when there is a strong tempo, seems to be more of a one paced grinder. Optimize (3rd) had her chance.

Race 3: AAMI Handicap 1550m

Ustinov’s Fury (1st) sat on the speed and kept responding in the straight, tough effort. Dances on Stars (2nd) is going well but doesn’t win often. Penny for a Pound (4th) was solid on pace. It and a Bit (3rd) has gone OK, struggling to win.

Race 4: Roberts Family Handicap 1950m

Silent Warrior (1st) had a lovely run and showed a great turn of foot to put his rivals away, just held on late, going well. Danouli (2nd) has gone well. Not much to say about the rest, Table of Wisdom (5th) seems to be getting overvalued in the market because of the horse’s connections, don’t think he is going well.

Race 5: UBET Handicap 1550m

Wasabi Bob (1st) sat midfield and has fought on well in the straight to score, deserving win. All Bar Two (2nd) has gone well, can win a race in town. Rupture (4th) was well backed again and had every possible chance, I can’t be backing him going forward.

Race 6: Hughes Limousines Handicap 1000m

Invisible Girl (1st) was well backed, sat towards the rear, and got a great run along the rails and has won easily, going well. Mystified (2nd) has gone well, good return. Also, a good return from Irish Mint (3rd), led and gave a good kick, its racing pattern will help it win races.

Race 7: Schweppes Handicap 1400m

Federal Court (1st) got some control on the speed and has won well, horse and stable going well. Spy Decoder (2nd) had a nice run, has gone well enough, struggles to win though. They cleared out from the rest, was hard for the backmarkers to make ground.

Race 8: The Junction Handicap 1250m

Magnus Knight (1st) had a lovely run and has been too strong for this lot, going well. Call me Curtis (2nd) sat on the speed and kept finding in the straight, has gone well but struggles to win. Roselli Sting (3rd) has gone well enough and can win soon.
