Race 2: Sabois 3YO BM 70 Handicap 1050m

Thine is the Power was a strong winner last start in a good race, looks to find a suitable race here and gets a positive jockey change, should be winning. Dancer’s Kin was good in his first prep, can run well here. That looks the race.

No value, staying out.

Race 3: Sabois + BM 82 Handicap 2000m

Kellstorm has only been going OK but this looks a solid drop in grade, will settle back and should be hitting the line well late. Super Swoop was dominant when winning last start, this is abit tougher but can’t knock winning form in a race of this nature, can win again. Cinnamon Carter returned to some form last start when winning, gets a soft run here and can run well.

Race 4: BM 70 Handicap 1050m

Thompson’s Reward is going well and looks to find a suitable race here, will go back from the barrier and be hitting the line well late. Debt Collector is a very talented type, didn’t quite measure in some quality races last prep, this looks suitable first up, would prefer if he was drawn wider but is a big hope here. Midnight Storm is as honest as they come, fly’s fresh, finds a suitable race here and maps well.

Race 5: BM 70 Handicap 1600m

Extreme Witness is flying and comes through some form races, should box seat from the inside barrier and be amongst the finish. A Little Chunky is flying, looks to find a suitable race here, just needs to relax towards the rear and she will be hard to hold out late with her turn of foot. Minoan Spirit looks to find a very suitable race and can be a big improver.

Tough race, staying out.

Race 6: BM 75 Handicap 1200m

Arties Dreamwinner was good enough last start, gets a massive positive jockey change here, only concern is there looks good pressure up front here. Lucky Fish resumes, was very consistent last prep, goes well fresh. Its Time For Magic comes through some decent races, can run well here.

Race 7: Spring Stakes 1200m

Inn Keeper is flying, looks a very promising type and looks to find a very winnable race here, should lead and prove hard to catch. Steel Frost resumes, was only OK last prep and the stable isn’t going overly well, not for me. Dollar for Dollar also resumes, was very good last prep and goes well fresh, should land OSL and prove hard to beat.

Good race but no betting interest.

Race 8: BM 64 Handicap 1200m

Air Guitar was just plain last start I thought, would need to improve here to win, looks unders. Moghul Empire is an interesting resumer, was showing great promise then was awful last start before going out for a spell, market watch. Bajan showed a nice turn of foot to put them away last start, this is tougher but can win again. Miss Coolangatta is flying and so is the stable, will most likely go back from the barrier, with any luck will be hard to hold out late.

Tough race to end the day, staying out.
