Every runner here is on debut, don’t like getting involved in these races, will watch and learn.

Race 2: Wolf Blass Wines Handicap 2500m

Instrumentalist comes here from Victoria, has been contesting country cups, finds a race without much depth, hard to line up. Duquessa is flying, should be amongst the finish. Tunes and Flying Casino are both going well enough but both struggle to win races.

No betting interest here.

Race 3: Gary Radford Family Handicap 1050m

Golden Lustre won well first up before contesting a strong race last start and pulling up with some post race issues, looks suited here. Spiritual Girl was poor first up, can improve here but take on trust. Iron Lotus is first up for the new stable coming over from Alice Springs, market watch. Fancy Rumble has shown promise and can do something here first up.

Race 4: C A Haigh Memorial Trophy 1200m

Good race. Desert Lashes comes back to Adelaide after contesting strong races in Melbourne, will lead here and has to be on top. Chamois Road is flying and should just sit of Desert Lashes in the run. Looks a two horse race.

No Value here.

Race 5: Penna Michael Chartered Accountants Handicap 1800m

Hussybay is flying, the step back to 1800m looks no concern and maps well. Wasabi Bob scored a deserved win last start, stepping up to the 1800 looks no concern and will be on the speed. Little Akie wouldn’t surprise at odds.

Tricky little race, staying out.

Race 6: Legacy in South Australia and Broken Hill Handicap 1200m

Via Balciano looks to have some ability, steps up to the 1200 here, if Bowditch can find a position from the barrier, should be amongst the finish. Street Embrace is going well, will be on the speed and give them something to catch. Hussy’s Glow is a very interesting runner resuming, can certainly win this. Thought Tabbing looked under the odds. Freedom Road looks big odds.

Race 7: ZONTE’S Z Force Handicap 1200m

Embecee Lil is flying, not sure the step back to the 1200 suits here, will be back towards the rear and running on late. Trogir has come back well this prep, should be amongst the finish. Sudden Wealth is a nice type resuming, wouldn’t surprise. Barood not the worst at odds.

Very tricky race, staying out.

Race 8: Consolidated Plant & Quarries Handicap 1100m

Baker’s Dozen resumes coming off a trial win, goes well fresh, in this. Zalmona went well first up, was just beaten by a fantastic ride on the winner, can figure here. Don’t Cry Wolf got the job done first up at Gawler, can go on with it here. He is Golden is going well and isn’t the worst at odds. Victor Victor coming off two wins, wouldn’t surprise.

Once again, a very tricky race, not betting.

Race 9: Happy Birthday Julie G Handicap 1600m

Cosmic Lights resumes for the new trainer coming from Victoria, impossible to line up, many question marks. Spy Decoder is going well and wouldn’t surprise here. Cool Fonzy broke through for its maiden last start and can go on with it here.

Cosmic Lights could be too good for them but can’t have any confidence, staying out, looks a tricky day.
