Race 1: Hughes Limousines Handicap 2600m

Super Haze was strong when winning last start, proven over the distance, gets Kah on and maps well. The Willybe is only going OK but looks to find a race here with little depth, loves it here and Morphettville and should get on pace favours. Red Alto continues to race well without winning, should be amongst the finish once again here.

No betting interest here to kick off the day.

Race 2: UBET 2YO Plate 1100m

Assertive Play was good when winning on debut, should take improvement from the run, deserved favourite. Vietti debuts here for the McEvoy camp, has been trialling well and will be a big market watch. Bayou resumes here, has done enough in her two career starts, looks a big player here.

Tough race, staying out.

Race 3: Four Time G1 Winner Sepoy Standing at Darley in Victoria Handicap 1800m

Divanation was very impressive when winning on debut, big step up here but wouldn’t surprise. Canford was a tragedy beaten last start, has experience on his main rivals here and maps well. Is Don Is Good was a strong winner on debut, has to go to another level here.

Race 4: Irish Race Day – 1st September at Morphettville Handicap 1050m

Choisborder is going well for Weir this prep, finds another suitable race here and must be respected. Nodoubtaboutit is an ultra consistent sprinter who fly’s fresh, looks to find a winnable race here, if Caboche can find a position from the awkward barrier, she will be hitting the line strongly late. Akkacan and Gold Denari can both run well at odds.

Race 5: 13CABS 3YO Plate 1200m

Danger Deal has been racing in stronger company this prep than what he faces here but thought he was poor last start, happy to be against here. Exalted Lauretta was strong when winning first up, looks to have some upside, maps well here. White Kaps faces a drop in class here, should settle on the speed, think the 1200m is a concern. Modulate resumes here and can run well.

Race 6: Fleurieu Milk Handicap 2000m

Silvera returns to Adelaide after recently racing in Victoria where he has only been going OK, this is easier but can’t get involved at the price on offer. Have Another Glass is a ultra consistent type, finds a winnable race here, maps well and the stable is flying. Top Prospect is 2nd up here for the Weir camp after coming over from Victoria, market watch.

Race 7: Metal – Link Handicap 1600m

Rat With Goldtooth comes here from Victoria where she has been racing well without winning, looks an easier task here but the map looks awkward. Wasabi Bob was good when returning to form last start, can go on with it here. Jet Express can run an improved race here as he gets fitter deeper into his prep.

This race looks a lottery, staying out.

Race 8: See the Magic of Matt Tarrant at Morphettville Handicap 1200m

Its Time For Magic is first up here for the Clarken stable who has great success taking over this interstate horses, Kah takes the ride which is a big push, map looks tricky, market watch. Artie Dee Two is going well this prep, finds a winnable race here, should get a nice run in transit. Trogir, Masipag and Rupture can all run good races, Mystified looks unders once again.

Tough race to end the day, won’t be getting involved.
