Race 1: 13cabs Queen Adelaide Stakes 1050m

Sanglier looks a talented type on the up, finds a suitable race here, maps well. Heaven’s Deal was dominant when winning on debut, big step up here but should lead and give a good sight. Dancer’s Kin broke through for a deserved win last start, can go on with it here.

Tough race to kick off the day, staying out.

Race 2: Beresford Wines Handicap 2000m

Waging War was impressive when winning in Melbourne last start, flying this prep and finds another winnable race here. Silent Warrior is also flying, should lead here and Kah gets back on board, big chance. Captain Duffy is racing well, if there positive from the wide gate, he can sit on the speed and run a good race.

Race 3: Carbine Club Handicap 1600m

Lite ‘n In My Veins is racing very well, has been dominant in his past two wins, the 8 weeks off has to be some concern but he’s a deserved favourite. Ken’s Dream is racing well for the Weir camp, past two wins have both come done the straight but can run well here. Mihany is an honest on pacer, will lead here and give a good sight.

No betting interest here, staying out.

Race 4: UBET Euclase Stakes 1200m

Nature Strip is a very talented type, must step up to the 1200m for the first time which is a concern, but he is a deserved favourite. Viridine had no luck at all last start, finds a very suitable race here and is proven at the 1200m, map is some concern. She’s So High has come back very well this prep, will most likely go back here but will be charging late.

Great race but all interstate form so hard to bet with any confidence, staying out.

Race 5: AAMI D C McKay Stakes 1100m

Sprightly Lass is a speedy type with plenty of upside, will be on speed here and prove hard to catch. I’m Wesley is as honest as they come, barrier is some concern here but should run well. Desert Lashes was good first up, Kah takes the ride, will be on speed and give a sight.

Sprightly Lass on top but no betting interest here, staying out.

Race 6: Schweppes Oaks 2000m

Sopressa had no luck two back, got the luck last start and was dominant, barrier one must be some concern here, but she is a big hope. Savacool was strong when winning last start, can certainly win. Think Bleue is flying, must run out the 2000m and the barrier is a concern, willing to risk here. Bring Me Roses can run a good race at odds.

Great race but very tough, Sopressa on top but staying out.

Race 7: UBET Classic 1200m

Viddora is a brilliant sprinter and was good first up, sets up well here but barrier one is a big concern. Quilista is flying, will be on speed here and give a good sight. Super Cash fly’s first up, this looks like a target race, big hope. Dainty Tess was good when winning last start, Kah stays on board, can run well.

Race 8: Hughes Limousines Queen Of The South Stakes 1600m

Savapinski is a talented type who always runs well, did a good job first up and I think she can show very good improvement here second up, will be on speed and should prove hard to catch. French Emotion broke through for a deserved win last start, her racing pattern is not ideal though, willing to risk here. Hussterical was good when winning last start, will be on speed and run well.
