Race 3: Sabois Maiden Plate 1600m

Havana Heat was good first up, should improve here 2nd up, up in distance looks to suit, gets a jock upgrade and the blinkers go back on, hard to beat. Perfect Award first up for the Clarken stable here, looks the leader, can give a good sight. Castle Rock comes through some decent Victorian Country races, maps to get a nice run in transit and should be amongst the finish.

Race 5: Class 1 Handicap 1050m

Kabini is a mare I’ve always had abit of an opinion of, looks to have come back well this prep after a good trial. Hoping for a positive ride from the wide gate and she can run well. Be My Star resumes here, looks a talented type, will settle on the speed, and give them something to catch. Gougers is racing well, will need luck from the inside barrier but can run a good race.
