Our Cricket service seeing things well
It has been a great couple of months for subscribers enjoying over 35 units of profit at 18% profit on turnover since the 1st of August. The results have been helped by the return of Australian international cricket, with the tour of Sri Lanka and South Africa being profitable for members. I have previously given a review of the tour of Sri Lanka so I will focus on the tour of South Africa and New Zealand’s Test tour of India.

We ended the Series a modest 5.90 units up at 25% Profit on Turnover. We bet very light in this series and before the series started I advised members to back Tremain top Aus bowler for the series at $10, this was the reasoning given to members.

“The TAB has some nice value in this market as they still have Faulkner as the $2.50 favourite when he has been ruled out of this tour with injury.

Only small plays as not 100% sure Treamain will take the last quicks place in the starting XI but he is the logical choice in my opinion.”

Injuries can be an easy way to beat the market as some/most bookmakers simply don’t react well at all to this information. Faulkner had been confirmed out for days but he was still the heavy favourite which left Tremain’s price in double figures. With books that had accounted for Faulkner being out of the series Tremain was as short as $5.50.
As well as this bet we also backed South Africa to win the series and for the correct score to be 4-1 or 5-0. With 5-0 being the end result this was a great result for members as it paid $15 at Crownbet.

In the India vs New Zealand Test series we made over 9 units at 30% profit on turnover with members who had a Unibet/Bet365 account winning a few extra units on top of that.

This was down to one man called Ravi Ashwin. We backed this great Indian spinner to Top bowl for the series at short odds (he almost doubled the amount of wickets the runner up got) and we backed him to win Man of the Match in each test. Before the series started I advised to back India to win 3-0 and 2-0 along with the following explanation.

“We are backing India to roll through NZ without much trouble this series, we are doing this because I can easily see a series much like what we witnessed in Sri Lanka. NZ will struggle against the quality spin bowling that India possess, Ashwin is a force to be reckoned with at home and I would not be surprised to see 25+ wickets from him in this 3 test series.”

In the first test Ashwin was stiff to not get the award but with every dose of “bad luck” some “good luck” is around the corner. When Sportsbet offered up great value on Ashwin MOM at $7 for the third and final test match I advised a full unit on him and this time he saluted.

Along with profitable pre match selections members often get an insight into how I look to trade cricket games, personally I made over 20u trading the test matches in India and the majority of that was done through following the advice sent to members, see an extract below from the first test.

“What we do know for sure is the ball will turn violently at the back end of the match so if NZ are bowling first you would not go broke backing India in….If the ball takes turn in the first session laying the draw will also be a profitable venture as NZ will struggle to bat more than 3 sessions facing a turning ball.”

NZ are currently facing India in an ODI series in which we won 3.46 units in the first game!

With a record of +46u on all international cricket at over 15% POT since inception and a jam packed Australian summer of cricket coming up, it’s a great time to get on board.
