Pedigree Power - November Monthly Wrap
Given we have just finished November I thought it would be worth looking back at the highs and lows of the month.
The high has to be the 63.8 units of profit returned for the month. Not a bad month but one I want to maintain and hopefully improve upon. Since the Pedigree Power service started we have returned a tidy profit of 81.6 units. I'm pretty comfortable now with my selection methodology and staking plans and believe the profits levels achieved to date can be well and truly maintained. The low has to be not nailing a quaddie - with the last three taken getting 3 of the 4 legs home. Our turn will come soon.
Thought it was worth mentioning a few horses we have backed.
Keeper Keen - God bless it is 2 out of 2 for us and looks a really smart 2yo. Has won by sitting back and running on and sitting outside the lead. Versatile and bombproof. Haven't seen many better 2yo's Australia wide yet. Keep following.
Swipe Me Right - again God bless him 2 out of 2 for us. Had trialled brilliant before two really impressive wins. Can clearly graduate to Saturday class.
Ubin Thunderstruck - may not have won on debut at Mooney Valley but a really good run. I have had a bit to do with this horse and he has always shown good ability. He is bred to get further and that's what his 1st start said. Jockey was glowing after the run and horse has trained on since. A must follow over further.
Petrov - should have clearly won 1st up at $15 for us. Had trialled really well on two occasions and seems to be really firing for his new trainer. A must follow.
Startierra - God bless him winning at $20. Had absolutely no 1st up form hence the price. That's the benefit of watching trials and not just reading the form. No chance on form but looked a great chance off his trial. Can clearly win again as was soft win in end for a horse that gets out over 2000m.
If you have any comments or suggestions about the way the service can be improved please send me an email. Always trying to find ways to improve things for the subscribers who have stuck solid.
My only other quick comment is don't be surprised if I send out a tip the night before a race. I have been hesitant to send out a few times due to minimum bet rules not applying until am on race days. However the Corporates put up horses so far 'over the odds' at times it would be seem mad not to take a price before the market corrects itself.
All the best
Cheers and see you tomorrow for a big day at Mornington.
