No.4 MR PINNOCHIO: Raced wide last start and plugged away last start. Failed 3^rd up last prep but that was on a bottomless track. No world beater but would rather take the $15 here than the two shorties.

No.6 CASINO MAGIC: Forget the debut run when heavily supported but pulled up shin sore. Sent straight for a spell and had plenty of time to mature. Was specked vs decent enough horses in Adelaide. Nice draw.

No.11 PLAYING QUIETLY: Not too far away first up. This extra trip suits and has never missed a place at the track and distance. Nice claim.

No.5 IAMTHEKEY: Honest horse in the right stable. Nice claim and the claimer has enough talent to navigate the outside draw. Should be thereabouts in an even race.

No.9 NULLABOR: Just going to tiny speck this one at odds. It’s Bordertown 2000m form and weight swings match up OK vs the fancied runners so thought it was worth a go here at the massive price.

No.8 LICORICE BULLETT: Not too far away in much better company in town last start. Overall time was strong. Nice claim and draw. Should be thereabouts at a price.

No.3 RHYTHMATIC: Winkers on here. Pretty weak in town when looked completely out graded and was puzzling why that race was a target. Back to a track where he has never missed a place in 5 starts. Tourneur a good south-east rider too. Nice draw. Wins on best form.

These two were poor last start but were racing well prior. Worth forgiving and following up purely on a price.
