Race 1: TAB Plate 1100m

Sizzling Belle (1st) sat outside the leader, gave a good kick, and toughed it out well late to hold on. Outrageous (2nd) settled towards the rear, not much room, got out at 250m mark, hit line well late to just miss. Osorno (3rd) battled on well in the straight.

Race 2: Wilkes Quality 1100m

Siege of Quebec (1st) sat outside the leader, looked gone on the turn but has found a way to knuckle down strongly and score, good effort. Kennedy (2nd) led, gave a great kick on the turn, looked all over the winner but the favourite was too strong late. Single Bullet (3rd) battled away in the straight.

Race 3: Owners Forum @ Royal Randwick Handicap 1500m

Show a Star (1st) led at a controlled tempo, gave a good kick around the turn and has held them off late. Prometheus (2nd) settled a touch worse than midfield, peeled out in the straight, attacked the line well. New Universe (3rd) settled towards rear, peeled widest in straight, attacked the line well late.

Race 4: TAB Highway Handicap 1100m

The Lion (1st) settled towards the rear, peeled out in straight and let down strongly last 200m to win well, impressive. Another Sin (2nd) sat outside the leader, gave a good kick, winner too strong late. El Mo (3rd) settled midfield and made good ground in the straight.

Race 5: Chris Toogood Farewell Handicap 1300m

Bratislava (1st) had a lovely run just off the speed, peeled out, kept coming late to score in the last stride. Lofty’s Menu (2nd) sat outside the leader, kept finding late to just miss. Samadoubt (3rd) led and gave a good kick, looked the winner before knocking up last 100m.

Race 6: #Theraces Handicap 1350m

O’ Rachael (1st) was well backed, settled outside the leader, sprinted well, got tired late but managed to hold them off. The Pinnacle (2nd) settled midfield, peeled out and looked to be one paced before picking up strongly late, up in distance will suit. Moss Trip (3rd) settled towards rear, peeled widest, and ran on well late.

Race 7: Carrington Stakes 1400m

Lanciato (1st) settled towards rear, sliced through the field early in straight, peeled out into the clear 100m out and knuckled down strongly, horse and stable flying. Prized Icon (2nd) had a nice run just off the speed, let down well and battled on strongly. Endless Drama (3rd) settled towards rear, showed good turn of foot to hit the lead, just knocked up last 100m.

Race 8: ATC Owners Benefit Card Handicap 1800m

Emperor’s Way (1st) settled at rear, peeled widest in straight when well off the leaders, kept coming, picked up strongly last 100m to score in last stride, good effort. Get on the Grange (2nd) had a nice run just off the speed, sprinted well to hit the lead and looked the winner, winner just too strong late. Gamblestown (3rd) settled midfield, kept coming late.

Race 9: TAB.com.au Sprint 1100m

Difficult to Get (1st) had a nice run just off the speed, travelled up under a hold in the straight and let down powerfully, very impressive. Knight Templar (2nd) had a nice run in transit, battled on well in the straight. Ziggy Willie (3rd) ran on well late.
