At Randwick the feature is the $160,000 Listed Winter Stakes where 11 of the runners had their last start in the Listed Civic Stakes a fortnight ago. The betting is wide open and it should be a good race.
The $125,000 Listed Beaufine Stakes is the highlight at Belmont. Seven-year-old Nerodio has won this race for the last 2 years and is attempting to become the first horse to win the race 3 times. The most likely runner to stop him is the aptly named Real Danger ridden by William Pike who has won both starts this campaign.There are also 9 races at Doomben and Gawler.
