The third Listed race is the Gai Waterhouse Classic for fillies and mares over 1200m where there are 7 last-start winners and Tony Gollan has 5 runners.
At Rosehill the feature is the $160,000 W J McKell Cup over 2000m where the favourite is Zoumon and Chris Waller has 4 runners while Annabel Neasham has 3. It's shaping up as a great race.
The $125,000 Belmont Guineas over 1600m is the feature at Belmont where 5 of the 11 runners had their last start in the Raconteur Stakes a fortnight ago, and the top 3 in the betting - Rusty Dreams, Vast Art and Upper Limits - all came through that race.
There are also 9 races at Flemington and 8 at Murray Bridge.
