A fairly quiet week for Lachlan as he moves to touching distance of the 300-unit profit milestone. We only backed six horses, and didn’t find a winner… yet achieved 25% PoT! That’s testament to Lachlan’s superb win/place staking and his ability to find horses well over the odds. Places were found at $3 with Thurmanator (Pakenham, Monday) and $4.8 with El Questro (Sale, Thursday).

Week: -1.0 units profit (-10.5% PoT)

Overall: 100.8 units profit (18.5% PoT)

A quiet-ish week for Mark as well as we strap ourselves in for the Spring Carnival. We found Egyptian Symbol at Randwick on Saturday, and the fine margins were on display as bad beats to Outback Barbie and Shogun Son denied us a huge day. We fell just short of a breakeven week nonetheless.

John's Analytics

Week: 2.8 units profit (13.2% PoT)

Overall: 191.0 units profit (13.7% PoT)

Busy week for John once again, with 24 horses backed, and a nice profit overall. We had three winners across the week – Graceful Star (Geelong, Friday), Streets Of Avalon (Caulfield, Saturday) and Ayers Rock (Morphettville, Saturday). A few minor tweaks to John’s service has us back on the upswing as we head into spring.

NRL Tips

Week: -3.6 units profit (-21.2% PoT)

Overall: 26.2 units profit (1.8% PoT)

Disappointing week for League. Three winners from our seven bets put us behind the 8-ball for the weekend… we found the Broncos, Knights and Raiders at the line, but a few other results cost us a winning week.

Golf

Week: -1.4 units profit (-100% PoT)

Overall: 41.1 units profit (14.7% PoT)

Getting closer… and closer… and closer. One of John’s big wins seems to be just around the corner. This week we had Bret Stegmaier finish 11th at the Wyndham Championship… at 1000-1 for the win. We go again.

AFL Tips

Week: 1.0 units profit (7.8% PoT)

Overall: 11.7 units profit (7.1% PoT)

Good profit this week as the home and away season nears a close. Four teams covered their line and got us wins – Essendon, St Kilda, Carlton and North Melbourne.
