Big week for members! Had a great day on Thursday with Big Shot Paddy at $3.85 and Trade Talk at $6.90 both winning at Geraldton (2 winners from 3 bets). Lady Stingray ran 2nd at $8.50 on Friday. Saturday was another top day with Star Exhibit winning at $2.50 and Turbo Power getting the job done for us at $23! We closed out the week in style with Fork Handles winning at Pinjarra paying $4. 5 winners from 15 bets at an average price of over $8!

John updated his model this week and didn’t it pay dividends! We had a great day Wednesday with Almerheri saluting at $9 and I’m So Sweet filling a place at $7.50. One bet on Thursday night for one winner with Here’s Alwyn saluting at $3.70. Fritz’s Factor was a nice result on Friday at $4.20. On Saturday we had a big result with Zoucara winning at $11 to go with multiple nice place results. We closed the week out in style on Sunday having two bets which resulted in two winners; Boncosta at $3 and Equal Love at $3.40.

A good start on Tuesday with Miss Antares winning at $2.90. On Wednesday, we had a nice result off the impressive debutant Classique Legend at $2.70. On Saturday, we couldn’t land one of our Blue Diamond futures bets but had a saver on Lyre at $7.70. Hibiscus Lady at $13 was a big result for us at Gosford. Our profit for the month continues to increase as we aim towards 9 straight winning months (143u profit in that time).

2.75 unit profit for the week. Hibiscus Lady was a highlight at $13, whilst Miss Antares, Lyre (saver) and Classique Legend were other winners for us. Classique Legend looks a potential topliner, will be interesting to see where he goes next. Thought Born A Warrior (100/1 Golden Slipper Futures Bet) was excellent on debut finishing 3rd in the Silver Slipper (Golden Slipper favourite finished 2nd), but will likely only get one more opportunity to qualify for the race.

We kicked off the week with Black Toff Affair filling a place for us at Seymour at a massive $62! A great start to the week continued on Wednesday with Wanted Desire saluting at Ascot paying $19. From then on, we just had the one collect which came from Tongsai Boss filling a place on Saturday at $7, Chief Kidder was heavily backed and ran 4th on Thursday at $8.

Overall: 6.4 units profit (1.9% POT)

No result over the weekend for members. The closest we came to a result was Kevin Na finishing T36 at WGC Mexico.

Losing week for members. Just the two winners for the week, Bold Warrior at $7 and Booker at $21 in the Oakleigh Plate to go along with multiple placings. We had 10.7 units worth of 2nds. No damage done, hopefully those 2nds turn into winners next week!

Wins to Booker at $21 and Bold Warrior $6.90 this week. Bring A Secret $7.40, Awesome Mo $5 (beaten by a 300/1 pop) and Moscow Mistress $9 were all narrowly beaten, costing us another winning week. Down 2.3u for the week, but still up 8.8u for the month.

Unfortunately a frustrating run of 2nds continued this week for members. We kicked off the week at Wyong on Tuesday with Lifetime Quest running a narrow 2nd at $5.50. Kensington on Wednesday, we had Sharapova run 2nd at $11 and Rock get narrowly beaten at $3.20. Friday night, Great Danger ran a narrow 2nd at $3.10 and we had a nice result with Tonsor leading all the way at $3.40. To finish the week off on Saturday we had Junglized run a narrow 2nd at $5. Overall it resulted in 26.4 units worth of 2nds. Frustrating indeed, but stay disciplined and stick to the plan, it’s just a matter of time before these 2nds start to turn into winners!

Very frustrating week.  9 betting races yielded 1 winner, 4 seconds and a third for a loss of around 6.6 units.  The second placegetters were worth 22 units to us - and three of them were really really narrowly defeated - showing how close we were to a good winning week rather than a losing one.  I can only re-iterate that the important thing is that the bulk of selections continue to run well and the prices taken are good - in a long-term propostion such as this, that's the most important thing, no matter how frustrating periods like this can be.

Losing week. Three collects across the week were Royal Witness at $4.80, Lyre at $6.50 and Zardoro at $8.25. We had a strong each way play on Pacific Legend at $4 who ran 3rd in an NTD race. Lifetime Quest at $5 and Junglized at $3.90 both ran narrow 2nds. We finished off the week on Sunday having a strong play on Full Of Spirit at $2.15 who had little luck in running. Didn’t have much go our way this week but it has been a great run with a massive 84 units profit over the past 2 months!
