The good times kept rolling for BlackBook members this week, with Lachlan’s positive streak continuing. We had an absolute cracker of a weekend with winners Husson Eagle (Mildura, Friday), Snitzepeg (Caulfield, Saturday), Tourniquet (Pakenham, Sunday) and Antigone (Sunshine Coast, Sunday). A few more places ensured that profit and PoT kept climbing, with the service now knocking on the door of +300 units lifetime.

NSW Tips & Ratings

Week: -1.8 units profit (-16.2% PoT)

Overall: 89.1 units profit (17.2% PoT)

A frustrating week in New South Wales. We scored a couple of winners in Bobbio (Wyong, Tuesday) and Paret (Rosehill, Saturday), but three placings at Rosehill (Just Shine, Condor Heroes and Star of Monsoon) meant we fell just short of what could’ve been a big week. Put it down to variance and we move on to this week.

John's Analytics

Week: -14.9 units profit (-6.5% PoT)

Overall: 188.6 units profit (-82.5% PoT)

No two ways about it: it was an extremely disappointing week for John’s Analytics. It wasn’t the busiest of weeks, with just nine horses backed in total, but performance was well off the mark with just the one winner in Mystic Splendour (Tamworth, Sunday), and nothing else running a place. John experienced some negative variance before stemming the flow with a couple of breakeven weeks recently, so to cop it again this week stings! John’s hard work on his enormoyus database continues as we look to return to the stunning performance of past months.

NRL Tips

Week: -5.2 units profit (-26.7% PoT)

Overall: 26.2 units profit (1.2% PoT)

Our run of good form unfortunately came to an end this week as we handed five units of our recent profits back. We actually got off to a cracking start on Thursday and Friday, going 3/3 on the total unders for Brisbane v Cronulla and Cowboys v Newcastle as well as Canterbury at the line. Unfortanly the good times ended there as we were unable to get another collect for the week.

Golf

Week: -1.4 units profit (-100% PoT)

Overall: 45.0 units profit (16.3% PoT)

Fourteen players backed this week across the Canadian Open, European Open and Senior’s British Open. We’re still hitting plenty of value – half of the fourteen made the cut from huge odds – but that massive winner is just eluding us. It can’t be far away!

AFL Tips

Week: -3.4 units profit (-18.2% PoT)

Overall: 15.0 units profit (11.2% PoT)

Mixed results in the AFL, with five of our eleven bets saluting as we were just denied a winning week. Essendon (H2H and line), North Melbourne (H2H and line) and Hawthorn (line) all did the job for us, but Collingwood, GWS and the Bulldogs were unable to cover their lines, which ultimately cost us.

Cricket

Week: 2.2 units profit (37.9% PoT)

Overall: 61.0 units profit (7.2% PoT)

A great week for Dave, going 2/2. It’s a quiet time of the year for cricket on this side of the world, and that’s where the expertise of an specialist analyst like Dave is worth its weight in gold. Dave found two bets in the Sri Lanka v South Africa Test – Herath overs in Player Performance, as well as laying the match draw on Betfair – and both won to give us a nice profit for the week.
