Things just keep rolling for Trial Spy, where Dean is nudging ever closer to an historic 700 units lifetime profit. Plenty of bets and winners this week. The highlight was Saturday’s Race 2 trifecta at Randwick, with Dubious (SP $19), Covert Ops (SP $11) and Krameric (SP $7) paying over $2,000 on the home tote and netting us nine units’ profit. Catch Me for the win at $5.10 in Race 1 made it a day to remember.

Overall: 121.3 units profit (19.9% PoT)

A very rare quiet week for Mark, who broke even across just seven bets from three meetings. Winners were Piracy (Rosehill, Wednesday) and Mr Boomjangles (Hawkesbury, Thursday).

(Though just FYI, there was a Monday public holiday at Randwick today to kick off the new week… where Mark took home over 11 units from the one meeting. Just in case we thought his run was slowing!)

John's Analytics

Week: 18.1 units profit (95.2% PoT)

Overall: 241.8 units profit (16.0% PoT)

He’s done it again! A massive week once more… 20 horses backed, and we got seven winners and a couple of placings at just shy of 100% PoT for the week.

Highlights were Lady Evelyn (Rosehill, Wednesday) at $18 and $4.80, and Theodolite (Wagga, Saturday) at $11.

BlackBook Bets

Week: -5.8 units profit (-36.2% PoT)

Overall: 289.3 units profit (7.6% PoT)

Frustrating week for Lachlan. We had some joy on Saturday with Cliff’s Edge (Caulfield) and Play Hard (Northam) plus a couple of placings, but couldn’t find anything during the week. Play on.

Dean’s Tips

Week: 11.6 units profit (75.2% PoT)

Overall: 627.4 units profit (7.9% PoT)

Dean shot the lights out this week to continue winning ways. Patrick Erin (Randwick, Saturday) at $16, Murrawee (Wagga, Saturday) at $14, Call It A Day (Mornington, Saturday) at $7.60 and Excites Zelady (Morphettville, Saturday) at $14 for the place were the highlights. It could easily have been bigger with Rockets Red Glare ($16), Sensation Ally ($10) and D'argento ($4.50) all running close seconds. That makes it 28.2 units profit at 74% POT from the past 2 weeks, which has us heading in the right direction with some well-placed futures bets also in the mix.

Golf

Week: 1.1 units profit (10.4% PoT)

Overall: 33.7 units profit (11.2% PoT)

A nice little profit this week as we had a play on the Ryder Cup. We split our doubles and singles bets, with Europe overall giving us a positive result for the tournament.

AFL Tips

Overall: 10.9 units profit (5.8% PoT)

No bet in the grand final, so we close out the 2018 season in the positive at just shy of 6% PoT.

Cricket

Overall: 61.3 units profit (7.2% PoT)

No completed bets this week on the cricket front.

NRL Tips

Overall: 12.4 units profit (0.6% PoT)

We didn’t bet in the Grand Final, so season over. A frustrating year which delivered a small profit, and could’ve been more without some close results going against us. On to 2019.
