Week: 4.1 units profit (29.2% PoT)

Overall: 695.2 units profit (10.2% PoT)

Solid week with 4 units profit, mainly driven by Saturday where we bet into 4 races for 4 winners: Amelda $6, Sunlight $5.50, Seannie $5.50 and Specialism $4.80.

Despite this it felt like a disappointing day with Zousain nosed out in a photo by Sunlight for a 17-21 unit collect.

In futures we backed Zousain at $9-$10 in the Golden Rose, started favourite, only to run 2nd to a superstar freak in The Autumn Sun, backed Zousain at $17-$21 in the Coolmore only to run 2nd nosed out in a photo to Sunlight (who won the Magic Millions for us in a Futures Bet at as much as 33/1), and Thrillster at $26 in the Thousand Guineas who started second favourite and it turns out requires surgery after the race for an entrapped epiglottis.

Despite those disappointments, the key is we are identifying great value with the Futures Bets, and have had success landing some big ones previously. We also managed to back The Autumn Sun and Sunlight who defeated Zousain, so we profited on the races where we invested in Futures Bets in any case. We continue to truck on nicely with 118 units profit since June.

NSW Tips & Ratings

Week: -8.4 units profit (-61.2% PoT)

Overall: 124.7 units profit (18.4% PoT)

Mark is experiencing a little bit of (well overdue) variance. With over 100 units profit in the 2018 calendar year, we’ve given a little bit back but are still a very, very long way in front. Taniko (Gosford, Thursday) was out only winner, and a couple of places cost us the chance to break even.

John's Analytics

Week: 12.5 units profit (108.1% PoT)

Overall: 264.2 units profit (16.5% PoT)

Huge week for John! All set up on Wednesday with two winners – Jawwaal at Bendigo and Bella Sash at Cairns, which was a great fill-up at $11 and $2.60. We got plenty of others placings too – of the nine horses we backed, seven ran top three. Great week.

BlackBook Bets

Week: -1.8 units profit (-12.7% PoT)

Overall: 264.9 units profit (6.8% PoT)

A few winners this week for Lachlan… we found a couple of winners but fell victim to the fine margins, with a few placings meaning we fell short of a profit for the week. Things look to be on the up however.

Dean’s Tips

Week: -10.8 units profit (-37.2% PoT)

Overall: 636.0 units profit (7.9% PoT)

Close but no cigar through the week with our Futures Bets Thinkin Big ($41 into $3) failing and Lean Mean Machine ($67 into $9) a close 3rd. Stars Of Carrum at $19 running 2nd in the Derby was a big collect gone begging also. Profitable day on Sunday with a couple of nice winners at $11 and $5, although Eclipse Miss at 50/1 running 4th beaten 0.4L in a four-horse photo for a big collect, and missing out on a nice place collect, was stiff to say the least. Still up around 27 units for the past 2 months.

Golf

Overall: 26.5 units profit (8.6% PoT)

Quiet week for golf… once again a couple of our picks finished top ten at very big odds - we’re finding value, and can’t be too far off a collect.

Cricket

Overall: 58.9 units profit (7.2% PoT)
