Dean’s Tips

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/deans-tips/

Week: 22.9 units profit (51% POT)

Overall: 722.6 units profit (8% POT)

A strong Wednesday with Spanish Reef saluting for us at $10.50. Dean continues to nail these big racedays and he showed that on Saturday! Winners were Hush Writer $8.50, Gamay $8.50, Mer De Glace $8, Savatiano $7.50, The Velvet King $4.85 & Thought Of That $4.40. We also got some cream landing the $261 treble at Caulfield & the $2,285 quaddie at Randwick. Not far off a massive day with 21.3u worth of 2nds. We closed out the week in style on Sunday thanks to The Great Artiste getting the job done for us at $21!!

Dean’s Tips has made 91 units profit at 21% POT over the past 21 weeks.

Here’s what Dean had to say:

Big week with 22.9u profit at 51% POT.

The Great Artiste $21, Spanish Reef $10.50, Gamay $8.50, Hush Writer $8.50, Mer De Glace $8, Savatiano $7.50, The Velvet King $4.85 and Thought Of That $4.40 were all nice winners.

We also landed the Caulfield Treble and the Randwick Quaddie on a fruitful Saturday.

We had some close/unlucky 2nds also with Betcha Flying, Champagne Cuddles, Santa Ana Lane and Hilo among the notable ones at decent prices that could have boosted things further with a bit of luck.

We have made 85u profit at over 20% POT since June.

Trial Spy

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/trial-spy/

Week: 9.7 units profit (39% POT)

Overall: 746.9 units profit (10% POT)

Nice result on Thursday with Nobel Time saluting for us at $4.60, whilst each way bet The Irish Yankee went down by a nose at $13.05. Losing day Friday, with each way investment Magic Pippa placing for us without not the best of luck in running. Winners on a great Saturday were Yes Yes Yes $9, Cascadian $6.70 & Xilong $3. We closed out the week in style on Sunday with our one bet In Great Nic saluting at $4.20.

Trial Spy has delivered 181u profit in just over the past 15 months.

Here’s what Dean had to say:

Yet another profitable week, up 9.7u at 38% POT, bumping us up to 37.8u profit at 42% POT for the month.

Main winners this week were Yes Yes Yes $9, Cascadian $6.70, Nobel Time $4.60, In Great Nic $4.20 and Montserrat $3.30.

We were stiff with The Irish Yankee running 2nd beaten a nose at $15 for a bonus big collect.

You all know I've waxed lyrical about Yes Yes Yes for a long time, always thinking he would be the premier sprinting 3yo, and he proved it in winning the $14m Everest in emphatic style on Saturday.

We backed him in Golden Rose Futures where he ran 2nd beaten in a photo, and still have a lovely futures ticket on him for the Coolmore Stud Stakes on Nov 2 at odds of $15 to $18, where he is now the hot favourite at $3.

When giving out the Futures Bets on Yes Yes Yes, I considered him at $51 for The Everest, but felt they might dodge the race and go the easy option of the Roman Consul (which they accepted for) a week earlier ahead of the Coolmore Stud Stakes. Certainly regret now not throwing something on him officially for the Everest as a futures bet at the time for you, but we got a great result on him yesterday anyway.

NSW Tips & Ratings

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/nsw-tips-and-ratings/

Week: -0.4 units profit (-3% POT)

Overall: 95.9 units profit (8% POT)

It was a nice start to the week on Wednesday with Tony’s Reward saluting for us at $2.65. Our one bet at Kembla on Thursday Brazenpine lost the race on protest at $2.10. A frustrating result on Saturday with Dealmaker going down by a nose in the last to cost us a winning week, with Santa Ana Lane also running an unlucky 2nd at $5.50 (11u worth of 2nd placings). Maid Of Ore scored for us at $8.

Here’s what Mark had to say:

Down a bit over 2 units for the week, but we were very close to a big week - 15 units of near misses over Thursday and Saturday.

Newcastle (Tuesday)

Neither Peak in race 2 or Foxborough in race 7 got to the required SP so neither were recorded, although as much as $2.50 was bet in places about Peak near the jump - it pays to monitor the late betting if you are able to.

Warwick Farm (Wednesday)

Tony's Reward - Solidly supported in betting and got the job done after a lovely Hugh Bowman ride.

My Blue Jeans - Was ridden positively as forecast but was caught three wide and weakened.

*Unfortunately, Vitesse and Pancho, who both won, didn't get to the required prices.

Kembla Grange (Thursday)

Brazenpine - First past the post, lost on protest.  No idea why the jockey changed hands with the whip when the horse was hanging already - it caused him to cannon into the second horse and the protest to be upheld.  The windy conditions were playing havoc on the day and the second half of the card was abandoned.

Randwick (Saturday)

Angel Of Heaven - Stuck on ok after a perfect run but was never really going to overhaul the winner.

Maid Of Ore - Perfectly rated by Tommy Berry in and provided a nice result after being solid in the market.

Acquittal - Was ridden aggressively by Rawiller but couldn't quite finish it off.  If anyone was going to get him to go it was Nash, so he's clearly not at his top.

Hit The Target - Couldn't get in from his barrier and didn't finish off.

Special Snap - The race didn't pan out for her at all - she looked likely to get control on the map but she was taken on by Still Single who overraced and put paid to both their chances.

Maddi Rocks - Somehow got posted three wide from barrier five and didn't finish off.  Probably at the end of her preparation now.

Notation - Well backed and ridden positively but was beaten on straightening.

Santa Ana Lane - Got out late and was well worth backing at the price.  Was going to need a bit of luck from the inside gate and just failed to get it - had he not been pocketed by the winner at the 300m he most likely wins the race.

Classique Legend - Got strung up in traffic and should have finished closer, was worth the small bet at the price.

In Her Time - Paraded really well and got a nice run but the pressure got her.

Ten Sovereigns - It may have been the travel, or it may have been the high pressure of Australian sprint racing that brought him undone, but he didn't go a yard.

Dealmaker - The real heartbreaker of the day.  Got to a fantastic price, had a lovely run, looked the winner and was nailed in the last stride.  A nasty 5 and a half unit swing on this photo.

Luke Murrell’s Tips

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/luke-murrells-tips/

Week: -33.1 units profit (-34% POT)

Overall: 475.9 units profit (5% POT)

Winning day on Monday driven by Plucky Cuvee at $2.20. No result on Tuesday, Corporal ran 2nd at $7.60. No luck on Wednesday, Harto should have won at $4.20, Rondinella also ran 2nd at $2.85 & each way bet Exemplar ran 3rd in a NTD race at $8.50. Small profit on Thursday with Laila De Vega scoring at $2.30. Losing day Friday, winners were I Stole Your Love $5.80 & Are You Dreaming $3. Miss Valbonne ran a narrow 2nd at $3.  Winners on a losing Saturday were Cool Sequence $3.20 & Oakfield Twilight $2.50. Good day on Sunday driven by Darleb $4.15 & Shaibanat $3.25.
